This project is an attempt to portray the trauma that a sexually assaulted victim goes through. How an unwanted touch lingers way longer than we imagine it does; in form of guilt, anger, disgust and fear.
With “That Touch” I did not take a typical talking-heads approach but instead I tried showing emotions with the help of lights and choreographed movements performed by females of different ethnicity. The expression was then voiced by a single person, showing similarity in pain and suffering regardless of their background.
